Death After Possible Road Rage Incident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― Investigators are not any closer to unraveling a possible road rage mystery and figuring out if a truck driver died after a roadside scuffle in Cinnaminson on Tuesday.

However, his family wants answers as they try to cope with their loss.

"I want to tell you so much about Ralph," said the victim's sister, Sandra Jelleyman.

"This is touching everyone," stated Kevin Jelleyman, who is the victim's brother.

Family members have a hard time as they remember Ralph Jelleyman, the truck driver who died Wednesday after what police are investigating as a possible case of road rage.

"Even if you saw him ten times a day, he would hug and squeeze you real tight and tell us that he loved us, that he was proud of us, no matter what he was by our side," said the victim's daughter, Amanda.

The daughters of the victim say their father's absence is tremendous.

The 45-year-old collapsed in the New Penn Truck Yard early Wednesday morning after finishing his shift and after a witness reported seeing the victim in a scuffle with another truck driver along route 130 South between Cinnaminson and Delran.

If Jelleyman's injuries were the result of road rage, family members of the victim hope whoever did this will come forward.

"He held our family together and supported everyone, good or bad, he was always there," explained Sandra.

Besides his two daughters, Mandy and Nicole, Ralph Jelleyman is also survived by his wife of 24 years who was too overwhelmed to talk on camera.

"He was selfless and courageous in everyway," said Amanda, adding, "He has put our family first always."

"Ralph's loss is something that is gonna take us a long time to get over, if ever," said Kevin.

Neither a second truck driver nor a second vehicle has been identified. But police ask anyone who may have witnessed this alleged road rage incident to contact either police or the Burlington City Prosecutor's Office.
